Its rarely convenient to go to a notary. People can't always leave their locations to go somewhere to get documents processed. Often, I travel to hospital rooms, emergency centers at hospitals, retirement homes, rehab centers, and peoples private homes. Unlike walk-in services, you must make an appointment with me. Sometimes I have immediate availability. If you have something urgent, please text me. Its more likely I will see a text before I listen to a voicemail.

The documents people need notarized are often important and time-sensitive. Common requests include powers of attorney, healthcare directives, affidavits, wills, real estate documents, deeds, loan paperwork, consent forms, and sworn statements. Mobile notary service is also frequently used for medical paperwork, estate planning documents, and forms required by employers or government agencies.

At the appointment I need to validate ID. You must have a valid, government issued picture ID. Without that, I can not verify who you are at a satisfactory legal level without lots of other paperwork and witnesses. If your ID is no longer valid, if it has expired, I can not use it for identification. Some examples of IDs are Drivers License, State ID, Tribal ID, Military ID, and Passport. ID's do not need to be from the state we are signing paperwork in.

I service the Durham North Carolina area. I can sometimes travel to northern Chapel Hill too. I do not take appointments outside of those areas unless they are large jobs, 10 signatures or more. As a mobile notary, I am looking forward to coming to you at your Durham NC location.
